I was referred to Mr Kalkur, we had a call first of all and we discussed the issues that I had been experiencing, after going through everything in great detail Mr Kalkur then advised that a full hysterectomy would be the best way forward, he went through everything discussing the pros and cons, I was happy with his advice and decided to proceed. I was admitted into hospital and the team came to see me and went through everything again, this was very reassuring. I had the procedure carried out and unfortunately it wasn't as straight forward as we hoped for, I had severe endometrisosis, which caused some further issues but Mr Kalkur dealt with this and the procedure just took slightly longer than anticipated. Once I was out of theatre Mr Kalkur came to see me and told me what had happened but again reassured me that it was a success. It has now been over 3 months since the op and I feel amazing, I have had a follow up appointment and Mr Kalkur was pleased with my progress. I would recommend Mr Kalkur he is polite, considerate and very professional.

I took My 79 year old Mum to See Mr Kalkur in April 2022 after being told she would have to wait until September of this year to get a phone assesment at Southend Hospital. Her symptoms had got so bad she was depressed and felt she would be better off dead! We were seen the next day. Mr Kalkur was kind, understanding and put us both at ease. His examination was considerate of My Mums age and discomfort and diagnosis immediate as was his treatment plan. His explanation was simple and thorough and our questions were answered without us feeling stupid. Having followed his plan now for three weeks Mum is already happier and more comfortable. I would happily recommend his care.
